After a few other mini painters did their end of year collage I was curious about what I actually painted this year. It looks like I went through three #BloodBowl teams, a small force of #Quar, a #WarhammerUnderworlds team, and a couple other one-offs.
Here's to getting them on the table next year 🥂
@symbology The painting will certainly consume as much time as you give. The up side I find to painting slow is that it helps me slow spending.
FWIW on cost: my personal approach to budget AoS is to play #WarhammerUnderworlds (3-7 models/team) and repurpose the models in #Warcry (10-15 models). I hear playing #Spearhead can also help keep costs down.
Finally made it to local Monday night #WarhammerUnderworlds. Learned a lot of basics to improve my play (reading board state, card throughput, positioning fighters for better influence, treasure token placement).
Added fun: folks in the group are sharing #BloodBowl models to start playing.

Holiday gift project planned. Friend and I will split painting a #WarhammerUnderworlds core box for a mutual friend.
A similar box from my co-painter friend brought me back into the hobby a couple years ago. Other friend coached me through building an Eldar Wildrider host back in 40k 3rd Ed.
