🎨 Die Persilfrau in Plagwitz

Seit 1936 prangt die „Weiße Dame“ an der Zschocherschen Straße am Karl-Heine-Kanal. Das Motiv wurde 1922 von Kurt Heiligenstaedt entworfen, Modell stand seine 18-jährige Freundin.

💡 Als größtes erhaltenes Wandbild dieser Art in Ostdeutschland rettete die Firma Henkel das Werk in den 90ern auf Hinweis eines Leipziger Fotografen.

Dům pánů z Kunštátu (the House of the Lords of Kunštát) is a Renaissance building which has been a part of the Brno House of Arts since 1958.

3rd version of one of Düsseldorf's oldest murals.

The eye on Hellweg was first painted in 1980 by the local mural group. Due to damage to the wall and the installation of new thermal insulation, this is the third version. With each passing year, the eye has aged considerably." 1980, 1995, and 2010.

Collaborators: Paola Ramirez, Marq Eichberger.
Otto Schily, who as a lawyer for the Red Army Faction (RAF) was subjected to surveillance and wiretapping at the time, has now taken on the role himself as Interior Minister and launched the massive wiretapping operation. Fittingly, the mural was unveiled on the 100th anniversary of George Orwell's birth."
