The #Greens didn’t just overtake Labour here in #WalthamForest, they eviscerated them.

On polling day Labour was handing out scare campaign leaflets talking about ‘green chaos’ like the Saatchi ‘new Labour New Danger’ 1997 scare campaign - was so crass it might have motivated a few floating voters.

"In #WalthamForest, #ChingfordGreen Ward saw a huge voter turnout of 51.4%. A big cheer went up in #Walthamstow Assembly Hall as the returning offer announced the turnout."

"Results were originally expected here at 12:30 BST, we have now been told it won’t be before 14:00. While we haven’t been given a reason for the delay, high voter turnout could have contributed."
