Bei der Bombardierung am 23.Februar 1945 wurden die Stadt fast völlig zerstört. Durch den Schutt und Aushub von Baugruben wuchs der Wallberg von 378 auf 417,5 Meter

Last photo from last weekends hike to the #Wallberg near #tegernsee .

I so love to see dead scrambled wood covered in moss . I can't even say why - maybe due to all the vivid green.

Anyways- if you're like me, you might like the photo and almost hear the wind in the canopy above, a bird chirping nearby and you might smell the forest.

This is what "makes" this photo to me.

Here are two of the #photos of last Saturday's hike. We went to the #wallberg above the #tegernsee .
Usually it's a quite crowded way because it's easily reachable and really very scenic.

That day, the forecast wasn't amazing - so we assumed that there wouldn'z be a lot of people going there. And we were right! :)

Wallberg Beyond the Crowds

Last weekend’s hike to the Wallberg near Tegernsee offered a calm alternative to the usual crowds thanks to overcast skies and cool temperatures. We enjoyed varied views, a peaceful ascent, and a choice descent on a narrow trail with photo-worthy moments, while testing a new action cam along the way.
