MarThe Disaster Assistance center in Sultan, WA will have a special event on Sun Jan 11th, Tue 13th and Wed 14th with multiple agencies and non-profits on site to help those whose homes were damaged by December floods.

π₯οΈπ‘@ai6yr As some others already mentioned, rain is normal in the Pacific Northwest, outside of a few Summer months. We're at the latitude where the jet stream brings more storms.
But an atmospheric river rating of 4 (mostly hazardous) or 5 (primarily hazardous) already takes into account what the region's normal rainfall is.
