El nuevo Volkswagen Passat ya es una realidad. Después de numerosas fotos espía durante todo su desarrollo, la marca alemana ha revelado el nuevo familiar. Es más grande, más refinado por fuera y por dentro, con un arsenal de equipamientos y llegará en 2024 con optimizados motores de gasolina y diésel además de dos PHEV de gran autonomía.
FrankTook Frank for a little shopping run further afield and he was fine. So glad his Aliexpress carbie works well! Still need to tweak the jets, got another backfire when we got home. But otherwise he's running nicely and solidly.
Just gotta tweak his door lock, its out of whack. Always something. I should also look at doing the Mk3 Golf wiper motor conversion, he's still got a B1 one and it's quite limp and slow.
Darn it. So Frank went to the shops and back no worries, but still backfired when stopped. The exhaust did need some TLC. I think now it's a matter of tweaking his Weber jets a tad.
Oh and that 3D part for his gearshifter turned out not to fit, it's a different shape to the T3 one. Looks like we'll be designing it from scratch.
Woo it's Saturday! That means warming up Frank and taking him for a spin to the shops, to see if the exhaust leak is gone. His exhaust got gooped up and a new clamp installed last Sunday. Hopefully that stops the very loud backfiring that startles the bejesus out of people.
