Catching up on some #penplotter-related news from the last few weeks.
#vsvg releases 0.3.0 and 0.4.0, which introduce #msvg (the fastest way to eyeball a collection of SVGs) and bring a host of improvements to #whiskers:

#vsketch 1.1, which brings Python 3.12 compatibility and syncs with vpype 1.14
#vpype 1.14 released! 🎉
#Python 3.12 support , better `layout` and `reverse` commands, and hyphenation support for `text`.

I'm going to have to look at #vpype or maybe @toxi 's library for pen plotting and see if I can tie speed and shading together somehow.
A woodburning tool can do half tones and gradients where a laser is essentially pointillist.
A lot more control is possible, I just haven't hacked it together yet. Really excited!

Wrote the original for this one in #p5js and #hydra and then processed it with ESRGAN. I converted it to SVG using #vpype and #DrawingbotV3 with the CMYK mode.
I used a gold metallic pen instead of a yellow one. This was created during the dev cycle for my last #fxhash project.

First prototype pass on a method for printing AI generated images with a plotter and #inkscape ..
Learning the basics for #vpype and #inkscape with the new #Plotter and I've also been learning #sverchok for SVG exports in #b3d ..
I may have worked out a couple of parallel workflows, for #GenerativeArt and even plotting some of my #generativeAI work!
Pretty excited.
Going deep with layering and perspective for today's #36daysoftype entry.

This was largely an intro to #vsketch and #vpype. I'm liking the workflow with these tools overall, though there are still a few mysteries to work out.
(At certain focal length settings or layer counts, occlusion seems to just give up; not sure why yet. Those dots up the inside are at the point where I unioned two shapes to make the base. How do I avoid that artifact?)
