The D974 between Dijon and Beaune is lined with vineyards, some astonishingly famous, but it’s also lined with family houses, bus stops, sidewalks, and road signs, not only for the vignerons and visitors but also for the «riverains», the neighborhood residents, who live and work here. I drew this to honor them. Which way would you turn? Left, or right?
