I take my 15 1/2 year old Viszla, Seeger, on a half hour walk after dinner. We end up going about 2/3, maybe 3/4 of a mile all told. Last night at dinner I was telling my husband where we'd have to turn around in order to make it a full mile, and on the walk I thought, why not? What will it add, 10 minutes? :slow head shake: SO.
