Did you know positionable task lighting can make a huge difference. Even with significant vision loss, directing bright, focused light at the right angle (often from the side rather than directly overhead) can reduce glare and enhance contrast.

Genuine question to people with impaired vision: I have a photo gallery on my website. These photos are there solely for showing them off and are not required for understanding anything else (decorative, art). They currently do not have any alt-text or description.
Would you profit from me writing alt-text for all of them? Is it interesting to you to read descriptions of photos taken for artistic purposes?

I usually write alt-text for everything I put online, but so far felt it unnecessary for something (I feel) entirely catering specifically to vision. Since the gallery includes over 100 photos, writing alt-text would be very time consuming.
