Adulting 101: #ClothesMending for Teens

"Have you ever wanted to learn how to #mend your own clothes, or customize the clothes you buy? This is your chance to learn the skills you need!

Learn from professional sewist, Bea Bryne, how to shortening pants, mending holes and replacing lost buttons.

Practice garments will be provided but you are also welcome to bring your own clean clothes for advice on how to mend them. All sewing will be done by hand. Basic sewing skills highly encouraged, but beginners are welcome as well!

Age range 11-18. Online registration required. This is a three hour workshop, and not a drop-in program, so please arrive on time to get the most out of the instruction!"

A little bit of further mending on the Shirt of Theseus. I got this linen button up shirt as second hand maybe some 15 years ago and have much worn it since, and I've patched it up so many times now.
