Ummmm….. I see nothing here that would deter large corporate entities from reckless neglect. Your model assumes harm to individuals is inevitable, and a big payout will make it all okay.

Imma stick with regulation that would make sure a mile-long train lugging toxic chemicals is not running on antiquated brakes, and that guarantees communities know the manifest of all cargo passing through.

Greater Cincinnati Water Works will close Cincinnati's water intake in the Ohio River ahead of anticipated #vinylChloride contaminated water from the #EastPalestine #NorfolkSouthern #trainDerailment, the agency announced Friday morning.
