Today in Tech History — April 11, 1976:
Steve Wozniak & Steve Jobs release the Apple I, Apple's first product. Sold as a fully assembled motherboard (no case, keyboard, or monitor), it ran on a MOS 6502 @ 1 MHz with 4 KB RAM. Price? $666.66. Just 200 were made. It sparked the home computer revolution and launched one of the most iconic tech companies ever.
Did anyone have a CD audio player back in the day that featured CD+G video output?
I got my first CD player in 1985, a Pioneer PD-5010 which had CD+G output, but I never had the cable and didn't have the tech sense to search for it beyond just the local Circuit City.
I never saw the visuals. 😠

In other words, we increased the number of PDP-1s ever produced by 10% in two days :-)

Lots of polishing up still two do. We're hiding from the world for two weeks to get it all done. Probably almost all done. Mostly done.

Look what arrived!
An original, sealed box release of #SuSE #Linux 8.1 Professional, from the year 2002!
I grabbed it off of eBay for a small price and it arrived quickly.
My plan is to take my 2001 laptop, the Fujitsu #Lifebook E6550, and without using the internet and just by consulting the manual and disks in the box, set up an authentic contemporary Linux system.
... as an #LGR-style video for #PeerTube!
