Un canile abusivo allestito sul solaio di un palazzo e pubblicizzato sui social come un vero e proprio negozio di cuccioli. Succede a Villaricca, in provincia di Napoli, dove i carabinieri hanno scoperto 26 barboncini toy rinchiusi in condizioni igieniche pessime, tra liquami ed escrementi. La struttura, realizzata senza alcuna autorizzazione, era composta da gabbie in muratura, in alcuni casi dotate anche di lampade riscaldanti per i cuccioli appena nati. Un allevamento improvvisato, trasformato però in una vetrina online: l’uomo ritenuto responsabile pubblicizzava infatti la vendita dei cani su TikTok, abbinando ai video dei cuccioli i prezzi, tra i 1000 e i 1200 euro.

Dietro le immagini curate per i social, però, si nascondeva una realtà ben diversa: spazi ristretti, ambienti promiscui e condizioni incompatibili con il benessere degli animali. I militari della stazione di Villaricca, insieme al personale dell’Asl Napoli 2 Nord di Marano, hanno sequestrato la struttura e denunciato l’uomo, considerato il “titolare” del pet shop abusivo. Un dettaglio che emerge dalle indagini riguarda anche il contesto familiare: l’uomo è fratello della 35enne già denunciata lo scorso 25 luglio per esercizio abusivo di chirurgia estetica, attività anche in quel caso promossa attraverso TikTok.

It happened in Villaricca, in the province of Naples, where the carabinieri (Italian police) discovered 26 toy basset hounds confined in appalling hygienic conditions, with feces and excrement. The structure, built without any authorization, consisted of brick cages, some equipped with heating lamps for newborn puppies. An improvised breeding operation, however transformed into an online storefront: the man considered responsible was advertising the sale of dogs on TikTok, pairing puppy videos with prices ranging from 1,000 to 1,200 euros.

However, behind the curated images for social media, there was a very different reality: cramped spaces, promiscuous environments, and conditions incompatible with animal welfare. The officers of the Villaricca police station, together with personnel from the Asl Napoli 2 Nord of Marano, seized the structure and reported the man, considered the “owner” of the abusive pet shop. A detail that emerges from the investigation also concerns the family context: the man is the brother of the 35-year-old who was already reported on July 25th for abusive cosmetic surgery, an activity also promoted through TikTok.
