Studied Harper's Handbooks on cats designed by Massimo Vignelli. He set the text in 9.5/10pt (no indentation), but offset each new paragraph by half line spacing (5pt), each titled in bold. This generates a compact typesetting, doesn't consume too much, and produces an in-phase/out-of-phase rhythm of the baselines which is irrelevant to the average reader without a typometer. Useful and unusual for today's average designer, used to choosing between indentation and a full line spacing. #vignelli
