Liudmila Siewerski's Zeitrisse was an exceptionally stylish projection mapping, with a breathing rhythm and beautifully composed colour scheme – and without horror vacui whatsoever. Turns out, Re.Light has succeeded presenting several interesting mappings!

I've always though that if you want to project on trees, then trees should have leaves. Well, I was wrong. Javier Riera's The Luminous Grove played leaf-free trees of Regensburg perfectly, using them more as a tulle than a screen. There was no black, but emptiness; holes instead of black circles. The whole projection was floating, three-dimensional, multi layered object rather than a picture.

Also, no flying bricks nor twisting towers, so I've finally found a large projection mapping piece that I like.

This was the third time I saw Jeremy Shaw's Phase Shifting Index, and I'm sure there will be more. Compelling, clear idea and a proper mayhem in the end. What's not to like?

Detlef Hartung's piece in Media Art Days in Videbæk was based on letters, as his works often are, and the whiteness of the enclosed yard made it enjoyable sharp.

Another Thesmallest Vallila piece that is going places: Jere Suontausta's Starring Dust had a new iteration in Media Art Days in Videbæk. This time the starring dust particle was picked from Vestjyllands Kunstpavillon, as is the idea of this site specific piece, then filmed through microscope, the film showed on a monitor as close to the original dust particle's site, and finally the particle returned.

Alicia Gang's projection piece in Media Art Days adorns the trees with letters, and even if there is not complicated programming involved, the movement of texts is organic and intriguing, flowing in the pace of breathing.

Translucens by Niko Tiainen must be the most presented artpiece of my account, but what can you do – it's everywhere. It's also great, so no harm done. Here it is seen in front of The West Jutland Art Pavilion in Videbæk, as a part of Media Art Days.

Signe Emma's piece in Media Art Days in Videbæk was an intervention with full contrast in colours, no fear of overdoing nor mousey respect for the sculpture. Very refreshing niki-de-saint-phalle-sque approach!

Site-specific art course, part 4: Tuomas Vainionpää's piece builds on the neo-brutalist architecture of the University of Arts' new building, twisting it and the audience all very cubistic.

Site-specific art course, part 2: Viivi Tammelin's Irti kontekstista (Out of Context) was inspired by the weird window-like niche that mostly go unnoticed even if it's by the most busy corridor of the building. Tammelin designated the spot with animated eyes, and headlines taken out of their context, providing a sense of oddness and some giggles as well.
