Yesterday's RoseTtoday I made a list of some 8-bit games I have. Like, I think I have a complete list of all of my #Commodore #VIC20 games.
One interesting thought arose: I have a handful of VIC-20 games that are on tape. Because the Commodore Datassette is a fickle beast, I might have played some of these games like *once* and then failed to load them ever after.
...So, I was like, *are* these archived online somewhere? They have to be, right?
I did discover Lemon 20, which based on a quick glance seems to have most of these, but unfortunately the site is in "maintenance mode". And the Wayback Machine seems to only have the index pages and not the game pages/image files.
I think I need to rig up my VIC-20 on my TV and play some of the cartridge games tomorrow. (Especially since I *know* that this one cartridge is labeled "Omega Race" but I *know* it's not Omega Race and I forgot which exact game it was. Is this the Garden Wars dealio? We'll see tomorrow.)

AlexSubnautica 2 has finally been beaten (at least the Early Access part) so I'll be eagerly waiting for more updates, hopefully bringing more lore and more exploration :)
