Per the Alice from _The Vicar of Dibley_ principle , such a name change would mean bcachefs may — in fact — *be* btrfs, and there may — in fact — be a lot more btrfs filesystems running around than we all thought there was.

It's the one where the Vicar gets invited to several houses for the same Christmas day feast, and since she can't seem to say no to any of them, tries to just take a nibble from each house, but instead gets served a full meal at each house.

It's pretty hilarious if you have access to that show where you are.
