This week did 62 km of #hiking throughout south #Bavaria with the longest being 35 km.
Thereby I finished hiking the whole #viaJulia Roman road which is a bit more than 300 km in total, stretching from Günzburg over Augsburg, north of the Chiemsee all the way to Salzburg.

Starting the #viaJulia challenge via foot. It is an ancient #Roman route between the cities #Günzburg, Germany, and #Salzburg, Austria.
The #BayernAtlas has an option to show historical amenities (https://www.geoportal.bayern.de/bayernatlas/index.html?zoom=10&lang=de&topic=pl_bau&bgLayer=tk&layers=6f5a389c-4ef3-4b5a-9916-475fd5c5962b&E=634628.83&N=5361533.45&catalogNodes=1). Further one will notice that the via Julia bike route doesn't align with the data from the Bayern Atlas. Thus planned a route that tries to cover most of it, it currently is about 310 km.
