Yet another flight and yet another V-Flex. Wearing a highly breathable mask makes travel easy and reduces my inhaled dose so that I can get my work done and back home without interruption.

Probed my first couple of old respirators today just to practise doing fit test exercises.

This battered 3M Vflex fit when I stayed still, but failed with head movement.

The Moldex's nice seal tested well even with head movement, but also fell below 100 FF when I started speaking.

Maybe a true result, or could be due to the old masks, low ambient particle counts or user issue. Will try other models before coming back to these.

Off to NYC for the the world's first Far-UVC conference (ICFUST). My goal will be to live post on Mastodon as much as I can during. We will also have some news to share in this space too. As always, another flight and another V-Flex. More masks than I expected too!
