If anyone wants to passthrough their integrated GPU on an AMD Ryzen 7000 series, peep this. But I will say, it's actually not worth it. The reset bug is here despite the fact AMD has fixed it in Big Navi, and vendor-reset ain't gonna help. Just use an NVIDIA GPU instead, it'll be easier. Or just use VirtualBox if it's simple enough.

So my HP Prolaint ML350 Gen 9 has a intigrated matrox gpu in the motherboard but apparently still would rather piggyback of whatever gpu is installed by shadowing its vbios so now i have isssues with my intel arc a310. Good job HP

We have a Windows 10 VM laying around that we use to configure our mouse (and currently nothing else).

I wonder if we could do GPU passthrough and play VR games on it...

• How much is it possible to strip Windows of its adshit and its trackingshit? Obviously it's still not going to be anywhere near as trustworthy as Linux, but like, still. If we're going online with it at all and playing games on it at all, I want it to be not shipping everything we do off to Microsoft QUITE so much.
• Is single GPU passthrough feasible? Is it annoying? Is it worth the hassle? We actually have an RX 580 laying around that we could shove into our desktop, but our RX 6600's fat butt blocks the only other PCIe slot on the motherboard, IIRC, and also I still want to use the RX 6600 for Linux games (and Blender renders and stuff) when we aren't using the Windows VM.
• Is there a good way to add a second GPU when the first GPU's big fat butt blocks your PCIe slots? Would we just have to buy a new motherboard? The case is plenty big enough to support it, we just have a microATX motherboard because it was the cheapest at the time.
• Or should we just ignore Windows and try to get Linux VR working through the open source tooling, without SteamVR, and somehow able to play Steam games through it? The major issue with SteamVR is reprojection double vision making us want to puke.
