Foster dog number 4 is a white lab mix. His name is Atticus, but I call him Abacus because I know I can count on him. #dogsOfMastodon #VeryGoodDog

He was found as a stray (hence, underweight), then spent some time in a shelter before coming to us. Estimated 4yo, very timid and afraid of everything. Good with cats, though.

Update to this Important Dog News: There was a photo of the dog in the local newspaper today. Her name is Lucy, she is three years old, she and her dad eat at that restaurant once a week, and she is a good dog. #Husky #Dog #GoodDog #VeryGoodDog

An #introduction:

After 40 years avidly reading #Fantasy & #ScienceFiction, I decided to try my hand at writing it. I started when I was 53, and a couple years later sold my first #ShortStory--and quite a few since!

I retired early from a software development career, so more time for writing, reading, hiking & metal detecting around #CedarGapMtn in north #Alabama.
