Then in the 1980's - the clean up in housing.

But even today - people/companies are denying that Asbestos is harmful... all while "they have that cough"... much like tobacco folks.

I think the prisoner's dilemma is named badly. I propose a different name, just so people properly understand it.

it should be called "the asshole's dilemma".

That way, if people pick the asshole selfish choice, it's clear what's going on.

After watching this #veritasium video, it's clear that some people give zero value to other people's benefit, but that's just insane - no person stands alone.

BTW in light of my recent realization that Veritasium is "embracing AI", Derek Muller's willingness to discount free will as a concept for the sake of a stupid riddle pretending to be smart takes on entirely new, ominous meanings...

I was watching the new #Veritasium video about zippers and, while the start of the video was great and informative, I noticed the #Hostinger sponsor spot promotes running "AI". Due to this video, now 4M people (minus #SponsorBlock users) have had this terrible idea promoted to them and at least some will probably end up deploying it, causing even further damage to the internet and broadening the "AI" DDoS's power.

I stopped watching and removed Veritasium from my RSS feed. Shame :/
