Saps que el trepó o herba blenera (Verbascum thapsus - gordolobo), a part de les seves virtuts més conegudes com a tònic i depuratiu respiratori (🍃 infu), planta fumable (🍃) i remei per otitis (🏵️ oleat), és un regulador de la inflamació fantàstic (planta sencera però sense llavors)?
Conté principis actius molt similars a l'arrel d'Harpagophytum procumbens (urpa del diable, harpagofit) planta africana que el nostre abandó i desconeixement dels remeis propis està posant en perill d'extinció i deixant als pobles que l'han tingut com a remei durant generacions sense capacitat de gaudir-lo.
Algun dia en faré la fitxa perquè és una herba que m'agrada molt i té moltes virtuts i aplicacions diverses.

Wool carder bees are one of the UK's largest #SolitaryBees , and they get their name from their practise of collecting hairs from plant leaves and stems, in order to build the cells within their nests. The plants you can grow to provide the 'wool' include #LambsEars (#Stachys) and #mullein (#Verbascum) species."

Common Mullein is, well, fairly common in the Midwest. It is even considered a noxious weed in a couple of states. This biennial is native to Europe, northern Africa, and Asia. In its first year, it grows a rosette of densely hairy leaves. It produces a tall (1-2m) stem in its second year before flowering.
