Mushroom based fried chicken , in Taiwan, we love fried chicken especially those are from the street vendors rather than McDonald’s or KFC. How could a vegetarian enjoy the fried chicken? We have mushroom based version! It still contains milk and egg, but tastes so good!

Nevertheless, it is a beautiful book, presented beautifully with the feeling of freshness, healthy ingredients, & good times with friends & family. There is a definite Italian-ness to the book that is enticing, & it includes classics that you may have recipes for already.

I am sure it is going to appeal to many, and certainly fits into the current trend of "home cooking" and "company" themed cookbooks. Mushroom Udon looks my pick of recipes. There is much to like in this book, I just wish it was more #vegetarianfriendly.
