I used our brand new air fryer for the first time today!
I made falafel from scratch and homemade sumac onions. The store didn't have any whole wheat pita, so instead we had them burrito-style in wraps with lettuce, tomatoes, and harissa tahini.

I had a ton of lentils in the fridge that needed eating up, so I processed them into veggie "meat" balls, fried them up, and had them with leftover naan and a little plain yogurt. The bowl on the bottom here has a kale/cabbage salad with ginger dressing, cut up halo mandarins, and pecans from my tree outside. It was amazing.

DragondropChange my view: All lentils are the same. Red, green, yellow, or brown, they all turn the same baby diarrhea color when cooked. (I refuse to believe black lentils exist.) There is no discernible difference in flavor from one variety to the next.

Well, ours is fava bean (härkäpapu). What's that then? Cozy pie? Bean pie doesn't sound right at all.
