Een kleine maar waardevolle oogst vandaag: Purple Haze wortels (Daucus carota) vers uit de tuin. Hoewel de opbrengst niet overvloedig was en de wortels bescheiden van formaat bleven, werd dat ruimschoots goedgemaakt door hun smaak.
Je eigen groenten kweken, zelfs in kleine hoeveelheden, verbindt je met de seizoenen en herinnert je aan het geduld dat tuinieren vereist. Niet elke oogst is overvloedig, maar elke oogst is waardevol.
