WTF is Up with Vegemite?

Guys, I don't want to alarm you, but I am completely out of #Vegemite.

Breakfast of champions. Or at least, breakfast of choice

Also: my secret mixed mash recipe is equal parts potato, carrot and pumpkin, plus butter and some #Vegemite
Alright now having experimented a bit with both #vegemite and #marmite I definitely have a slight preference for the former. Vegemite (probably from the vegetable extracts) has a richer, earthier flavor.
Both are tasty though!

When did they change the #vegemite recipe?!!?!?!1? It spreads like motor oil and tastes like nothing!

I never thought vegemite -- of all the things in the world -- would change like this. It's been around for over a hundred years!

I had tried #Vegemite (and #Marmite for that matter) in the past but only really in the context of, like, “here bro, taste this” and not, like, how it’s intended to be used (as a thin spread or additive).

Anyway, someone sent me a tube, and now I’m obsessed. Thin layer on some toast with a little unsalted butter? Yum!

Now I wanna try swapping it in places where I’ve previously used Accent or Soy Sauce.

Anyway, TLDR, Vegemite is good stuff.
