Plant-based options are popping up everywhere… and for good reason! Now more than ever, compassionate consumers are demanding food options that are free from animal-derived ingredients. Please urge Dunkin’ to offer vegan-friendly, plant-based donuts worldwide! Dunkin’ (formerly Dunkin’ Donuts) was founded in Massachusetts in 1950 and has since become the largest coffee and donut brand in the United States with over 9,000 locations nationwide. Thousands of additional Dunkin' locations are also in business in 46 countries around the world. Every year, Dunkin' Brands reportedly sells nearly 3 billion donuts containing milk and/or eggs from exploited animals. The chain launched several vegan-friendly donut options in locations such as the UK and Philippines; however, it has yet to debut a vegan-friendly donut at all of its locations worldwide. Offering a plant-based donut would make a tremendous impact in many ways. Above all else, cows and chickens would not suffer for these donuts to be produced. Entirely vegan donut shops are also inaccessible to the majority of people, so offering vegan-friendly donuts at all Dunkin' locations would give more people access to budget-friendly, plant-based foods. Plus, producing plant-based foods is better for the environment and public health. TAKE ACTION It is time for Dunkin’ to debut a plant-based donut at all locations worldwide!
