drained, physically and emotionally
soldered for the first time since my operation, had trouble coordinating/keeping my tremor under control but it turned out pretty good eventually, with some calm guidance and a large chunk of silicone so I didn't have to lean in too far.
long chat with the wind terminal couple (https://windterminal.com) found out i have a doppelganger who runs a tech youtube channel i instantly forgot the name of.
met xodium.net who was cool and did/had some very cool 2000's era networked things set up and creative use of 3d-printed lightpipes
c64basic.online has a work in progress C64 simulator accessible via telnet at c64basic.online:6502 (use command "LESSON", no quotes, to get a BASIC tutorial)
Another little chat with Jeri Ellsworth, the TI-99 was so damn long, but she already has plans to make it much longer
bought a mini project kit that uses magnetic core memory from core64.io . Something I'd been wanting to make myself without any idea where to start, really happy with that
very tempted by a Wang Wangwriter keyboard and "working" hellraiser puzzle box. very tempted, but I resisted. great chat with the puzzle box seller. no cenobites have appeared yet.
i don't know how hashtags work #VCFSoCal

met cool people that I've seen online
met cool people I've never seen before
a lack of the 8bits&bobs from my childhood in the UK, but it was interesting scoping out this alternate universe first-hand
got a silicone helping hand for soldering and chatted with Jeri Ellsworth while doing so
sent a message via the wind terminal
played multiplayer doom on a laptop via modem
was bad at ms. pacman and so good (bad) at Matrix: Gridrunner 2 that the screen went wonky
after a rest to ease my screaming back, a fun performance by The Stop Bits rounded out the day
knackered now, pizza time
