PrimateAI scores measures the pathogenicity of protein coding missense variants. It is recommended to use PrimateAI score cutoff of 0.8 to distinguish benign variants from deleterious variants.
PrimateAI-3D algorithm is a semi-supervised 3D-convolutional neural network for variant pathogenicity prediction, trained on 4.5 million common missense variants with likely benign consequence and precise protein 3D structures. It also leveraged language models of protein sequences and variational autoencoder on multiple sequence alignments.
