dylanparryI've been wearing #varifocals for a while now, but I've only just noticed the tiny "10M" and a circle that appears to be etched into each lens! At first I thought it was just dirt, but seeing as I didn't have my glasses on, I couldn't work out what it was ๐ #glasses
Dylan ParryFixed them myself in the end. Couldn't be bothered going back into town, and figured I couldn't make them worse, so got out the tiny screwdrivers and sorted it. Now they're just perfect... All I need to do now is get used to #varifocals. #GettingOld
BigGeordieGeekNew glasses, they are varifocals, and I have taken to them like a duck to water, no issues immediately here they just work
Letโs see how it goes though, although I can now see the TV a lot clearer now, so @lindsaylikestea and @magickmogwai are unimpressed cause we kind of arranged to get a new bigger TV due to the fact I was having trouble seeing it clearly!
Bebef has movedOkay, so I now have #varifocals (since earlier today). I was not #prepared for this! Rectangular shapes, like my phone, now appear #trapezoidal. ๐ตโ๐ซ
I mean, I know why it kind of has to be that way, but il looks really weird. ๐ง

Now, to make #soup from scratch because someone mentioned making soup the other day and I've wanted homemade soup since then. Carrot, sweet potato, and parsnip soup with cumin and coriander.

Be honest, how much of a pain in the ass are they to get used to?
LukeIโve been sent some instructions for using my new glasses, fortunately Iโve been wearing varifocals long enough for most of this to be automatic but thereโs still a bit adjustment in my CNS before I can feel comfortable. #varifocals #glasses
Tim GentTop tip if your varifocals seem wrong: ask the optician to check your frames. There's some arm bendy wizardry they do, I don't understand it, but I'm pleased it works! #Varifocals #ICanSeeClearlyNow #OldEyes
