@JuxGD buy it when you need it, lets you avoid price fluctuation :thumbsupcat: it's PoW, so it's not great but also not terrible. it's using RandomX rather than the common algorithms like SHA, so there are no supermassive ASIC mining farms using 36978 gigawatts for it either. it only runs efficiently on real CPUs a privacy chain that only does transactions at least cant be used as a vehicle for web3 nft smart contract bs, if that makes it ethical or not really depends on your personal opinion RE: #crypto #cryptocurrency #monero #xmr :boosts_ok_gay: for the people who use monero for donations etc. i have a few questions :boosts_ok_gay: :neofox_heart: - how to deal with xmr varying in price? just buy whenever needed? - how harmful is monero compared to other PoW cryptocurrencies like bitcoin? - is monero ethical?
