Anyone who knows what the title of the film I'm actually thinking of could really be a sanity saver.
Watched The Last Voyage of the Demeter & it is not the movie I thought it was. Not in positive or negative but as in the film was somehow different from the one I'd seen before & thought was, The Last Voyage of the Demeter.
A list of similarities, the ragtag crew, set in the right era (Victorian) & on a wooden vessel as opposed to metal & the presence of a sick passenger & of course the vampire. And people being picked off one by one.
What was missing were a random assortment of passengers, not many, just enough to occupy the handful or so passenger cabins on this cargo vessel. Also, scenes with the passengers taking their meals & spending time outside their cabins in the dining room or mess hall.
As well as that, they kept the vampire mostly hidden & didn't reveal it till much later in the film, at least that's what my memory says.
After finishing the film, that was not the one I was expecting I did some searching but nothing even close came up. Even after checking several lists of vampire movies on boats or horror movies on boats. Nothing came up, lots of films, just nothing even close.
I reckon the film is from the 2010s (mid - late) from what I remember of the aesthetics & special effects.
If anyone has seen a film matching what I describe & knows the title, that would be wonderful to know.
