Endlich wieder #Bergluft geschnuppert!

Letztes Wochenende machten wir uns für 3 Tage auf ins beschauliche Val Vigezzo, das westlich vom Lago Maggiore liegt.

Wir erkundeten die Gegend sowohl auf dem Gravelbike als auch zu Fuß, um meinen immer noch nicht ganz gesunden Fuß nicht zu überlasten.

U.a. ging es auf den Pizzo Ruggia (2289m), der sich aufgrund des weglosen, ausgesetzten und felsigen Schlussanstiegs als superinteressante (und fast zu anspruchsvolle) Tour erwies.

Doch auch die #Wasserfälle in #Malesco mit ihren riesigen und eiskalten #Gumpen waren am letzten Tag eine sehr gelungene Halbtagesunternehmung.

Returning from a day out, high up above the #ValVigezzo 🇮🇹 in #Piemonte: mountain huts and snow-covered alpine pastures under a perfectly blue sky. What a blessing.
And a ride on the #Vigezzina #Centovalli line with the last #Locarno🇨🇭to #Domodossola 🇮🇹 through train of the day.

Daylight is at its shortest this week. What a blessing to hike in the mountains high up above the #ValVigezzo 🇮🇹 in #Piemonte in bright sunshine … and to take a ride on the “trenino” of the #Vigezzina railway to #Domodossola - in an old class ABe8/8 trainset of the late 1950s with #FensterAuf opening windows. 😉

La scorsa domenica abbiamo fatto capolino al Lago Panelatte. La partenza è fissata per le 6.30 e la meta prevista è Arvogno, presso gli impianti di risalita che si collocano a qualche centinaio di metri da Toceno, in Val Vigezzo. Per il sentiero M21 risaliamo gli alpeggi che sulla via del ritorno riforniranno di formaggio […]
