#Ukrainian veteran #Serhii "#Voron" #Railian went to war in 2015, at the age of 18. While performing a combat mission in the #Donetsk region in 2022, he lost his sight and both legs.

Following the tragedy, #Kira’s father, #Yurii_Glodan, joined the #Ukrainian Armed Forces. In November 2023, it was reported that he had been killed in combat.

Last Monday, an ordinary day in #Sumy turned into a nightmare.
#Valeriia, 4, was watching cartoons, #Emik, 5, was resting at home because he was sick, and #Kira, 15, was walking home from school during a break when a #Russian strike took place.
#Valeriia was blown off the couch, #Emik and his mother were knocked down, and #Kira was frozen with shock. "I was trying to save my candy," was the first thing little #Valeriia said after the explosion.
