Darauf hatte Georg schon lange richtig Bock.
Gesagt getan.
Mit Equipment bewaffnet machten wir uns auf in den Park Naturelle Haut-Languedoc

Und was soll ich sagen: sonderlich gut geschlafen habe in dieser Nacht nicht.
Ich hatte ständig einen Stein unter meiner Isomatte.
Und ist die Isomatte immer so hart?!
[Ich hör nur mimimi... 😁]🙈

Am nächsten Tag späten Nachmittag kamen wir fix und alle, aber Glücklich wieder an der Quest an.
Und das beste?
Noch nie hat sich unsere Matratze im Van so weich und bequem angefühlt.😅🙈

Manchmal weiß man halt erst was man hat, wenn man mal drauf verzichten musste.
Auf was könnt ihr auf keinen Fall verzichten?

Georg had been really keen on this for a long time.
No sooner said than done.
Armed with equipment, we set off for the Park Naturelle Haut-Languedoc.

And what can I say: I didn't sleep very well that night.
I constantly had a stone under my sleeping mat.
And is the sleeping mat always so hard?!
[I only hear mimimi... 😁]🙈

The next day, late in the afternoon, we arrived back at the Quest, exhausted but happy.
And the best thing?
Our mattress in the van has never felt so soft and comfortable.😅🙈

Sometimes you only know what you have when you have to do without it.
What can't you do without under any circumstances?

📍Mount Caroux

Das Caroux-Espinouse Massiv liegt im Park Naturell Haut-Languedoc.
Wir sind eher zufällig hier gelandet, aber waren begeistert von der Schönheit der Natur.

Der Mount Caroux ist mit seinen 1091Metern nicht der höchste Berg hier, aber er lässt sich sehr gut bewandert und die Strecke nach belieben verlängern.

Unser Tipp: Da die Strecke auf den Mount Caroux zur allgemeinen Wegstrecke relativ kurz ist, macht euch Morgens bei Dämmerung auf den Weg!
Der Sonnenaufgang hier oben ist es Wert früh aufzustehen.

The mountain calls
📍Mount Caroux

The Caroux-Espinouse massif is located in the Naturell Haut-Languedoc Park.
We landed here rather by chance, but were thrilled by the beauty of nature.

Mount Caroux, at 1091 metres, is not the highest mountain here, but it is very easy to hike and extend the route as you wish.

Our tip: As the route up Mount Caroux is relatively short compared to the general route, set off before sunrise.
The sunrise up here is worth getting up early for.

Mal die etwas andere Provance
📍Camargue

eine Schwemmlandebene im Süden Frankreichs.
Zwar gehört das Gebiet noch zur Provence aber Lavendelfelder sucht man hier vergebens.
Dafür findet man raue flache Ebenen regiert durch Sümpfe, Reisfelder und riesige Salzgärten und herrliche endlose Sanddünen.

Den Stellplatz direkt am Meer, mit dem kilometerlangen Sandstrand werden wir so schnell bestimmt nicht vergessen. Vor allem die Sonnenuntergänge, spektakuläre Wolkenbilder und das Rauschen des Meeres beim einschlafen.

A slightly different Provance
📍Camargue

an alluvial plain in the south of France.
Although the area still belongs to Provence, you won't find lavender fields here.
Instead, you will find rough flat plains ruled by swamps, rice fields and huge salt marshes and magnificent endless sand dunes.

We will certainly not forget the campsite directly by the sea, with its kilometre-long sandy beach. Especially the sunsets, spectacular views and the sound of the sea as we fall asleep.
