Baby snail on board 🐌

Rainy day with lots of snail activity outside the window.

There's a really high percentage of the orange banded variety of grove snails this year. I haven't counted but they seem to become more common each year. Probably because their sandy-beige base colour matches the house walls, so they evade the birds. (There's a thrush's anvil in my little roof biotope.)
