I must say this #bicycle #helmet is absolutely nuts. Never had an helmet fitting in my #backpack along with the #laptop, #tablet, #charger, cables and all I need to work.
Tomorrow during my #commute to #florence we'll se if it is as well confortable!

I live in the country and haven't been back to #Otautahi #Christchurch where I used to live, or any city really, for too long.

I had to pick up a bike, so last week dug out my #BikePacking bags, caught a lift with @magazine and rediscovered the joys of #UrbanBiking visiting people for work and friends for 3 nights of fun

There really is no better way to appreciate cities than from a bike, avoiding the major roads and traffic and serendipitously discovering new things

There was a truly impressive turn-out —200+people — at #KidicleMass in #Berkeley today — the youngest rider was (I think) about 4, peddling along under his own steam, and the eldest was somewhere around 70. Kudos to @marcprecipice for all the hard preparation work, kudos to all the parents and kids who turned out (I’ve never seen so many cargo bikes in one place!) and thanks to the Berkeley City Council Member who rode along with us.

I don't know if it's because of the Dunning-Kruger effect, or because there's been a culture shift in my area, but I've noticed a lot of people walking and biking around my city.

I'm hoping it means good changes in my area.

@MartinK @BicycleDutch i am not desputing that. My point is that in most of NRW, Bavaria, Hamburg, and Berlin it‘s much worse than elsewhere in Germany.
You could tell your local politicians to build infrastructure like in Hanover, Osnabrück, Münster, or Karlsruhe, yet we never seem to talk about that, instead we talk about the Netherlands, Copenhagen, and Bullerbü. #bikingingermany #urbanbiking #radfahrenindeutschland #radfahren #fahrradpolitik
