"Choice" assumes that we're all dealing with the same potential consequences.
- #unladylike podcast ep 50, on removing, keeping, loving, hating ... body hair.

I'm sharing this gem of advice I learned recently on a podcast (#Unladylike if you were curious). They had Amanda Seales on. For context, she had said something really calmly and clearly at a mixed political dinner. They were wondering how she did it without losing her cool.

She said she says things because they need to be said, not because she expects the other person to get it.

This seems like an easier way to deal with relatives/acquaintances.

I found the slip of paper earlier (they should make that bigger so it's not so easy to lose) that confirms I need to replace my IUD this year. I'm still hoping for something ...uh... "Bigger". I'm going to talk about my options this Spring Break (and if it fails, get it replaced then). #Unladylike just did an episode on it.
