  • Und mir ist es shiceegal woran es liegt: Gem. §73 Abs. 1 TKG ist das deren Problem, und wenn die mir ne Faser aufn Balkon legen müssen, ist das #NichtMeinProblem!

  • Mal schaun ob die von Vodafone notfalls bereit sind die Kosten für Ersatzvornahme [#VDSL 🤢 + #LTE 🤮 durch Dritte] zu tragen.

Weil deren LTE ist auch #verstopft weil #underpeered!

Running [`speedtest-cli`](https://www.speedtest.net/apps/cli) on a machine directly plugged into a consistent 1GBaseT connection yields the same results: - Extremely high ping spikes that result in extreme #lagging in realtime-applications like #CS2.

@alterelefant @fuchsiii Even by #Vodafone's own metrics >25ms is bad and >50ms unacceptable.

Given that they ain't doing #VDSL - #Resale but literally own everything from the cable modem upwards, I consider the issue their problem as in "Even if I wanted to, I can't fix it - literally!"

Them having overprovisioned their bandwith on the #CMTS for #EuroDOCSIS 3.0 or being #underpeered is their area to fix.

  • And if a fix means they'd have to #QoS and apply #TrafficShaping against customers who do not have a binding #SLA and guarantees re: Bandwith and Ping is a mitigation strategy they could do, but chose not to.

@qwertyoruiop the fact that #DTAG has a testing server that fast is surprising.

Normally #DeutscheTelekom's core network is so #underpeered that they got sued by #Cogent & #Lumen nee. #Level3 for insufficient capacity and abusing them as #upstream|s.

In return, I'm surprised they only got #10G there. I would've already expected #100G and #OM5 fiber everywhere...
