Luis Buñuel Unsettling to say the least but very rewarding at the same time. Un chien andalou isn't your 'cosy night out with an entertaining movie'. Bunuel had an awful lot to tell with this one, a present wrapped in sheer mystery and beauty. A mysterious accumulation of images of violence and absurdity. Released in 1929, it still has the power to make audiences cringe today and it may remain
