Finally deleted my Google account (after successively removing all Google services I had used). It was interesting and unnerving to observe how often I had relied on my Gmail address, so it took a long time to make sure I'm not locked out of any services without the account. (To be honest, I'm still not 100% sure, but I'm willing to take the risk.)

Just 297 more days until I am set to DeGoogle from Android (2027, January 1st deadline) yet I am so far behind on my APK backup goal. I currently have my eyes on this phone to replace my aging and heavily damaged Samsung Galaxy S20:
