–sn–

Shoutout (/s) to the universities that are total cowards and gave in right away to the fascists:

Do you know if your university has made changes to their #DEI program language? If so, please share below. If they haven't made changes and are committed to standing firm, share that below as well.

And a special shoutout (again, /s) to #BostonUniversity for shuttering their Center for Antiracist Research, just when we need it most.

@universalhub embarrassing behavior but not unsurprising.

C'mon Bay Staters, you know what to do. Let Charlie Baker, Harvard, and UMass Boston know how disappointed you are.

Giving in to fascists makes you...also a fascist.

UMass Boston and the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum on Columbia Point, Dorchester MA photographed from Buck Hill.

I visited Columbia Point and the JFK Museum for the first time recently and was very impressed with the beauty of this spot.

My photo from Buck Hill shows three UMass Boston buildings, from left to right are Wheatley Hall, the Campus Center (you can see the shuttle buses parked in front) and University Hall. The top of the JFK Museum can be seen rising over University Hall with it's distinct white and black sections.

I also took a photograph from the harbor walk looking back towards Buck Hill. From this distance, the Blue Hills seem to merge into a single long, curving ridgeline, without very distinct summit points. The summit of Buck Hill is just to the left of the buoy at the very bottom of the frame.
