Instead, it’s named after the area - the Chiltern Hundreds. Anyway, we will have a fun day #TrailRunning and here is the tracker. Photos from yesterday’s Big Mud 50k #ultramarathon. Well organised event with great course marking and marshalling👍🏼 Aid stations needed some vegetarian savoury food though. Sausage rolls were not an option so I was left eating sweet stuff which got a bit challenging towards the end.

Tough day out yesterday but I finished 4th in my age category (out of 9😁). Endless mud. I was aiming for 7 hours but the conditions were so slippery there was no chance. Also, it was nearly 2km longer than 50k so I’ll use that as an excuse too🤣 Plenty of rain for the first few hours, up in the clouds and no nice views so I didn’t bother with photos. Another #ultramarathon done. Need some recovery time now - next race is in 3 weeks. #TrailRunning
