Today we visited Dunwich Heath, we hadn’t visited much before so we went back for another look around.

We’d also seen Dartford Warblers had been sighted at the Heath but we thought there’s no chance we would find them.

About 40 meters down the path we chose, our first bird of the walk flew across right in front of us…it was a Dartford Warbler!

Back in January we found out a Black-Bellied Dipper had been sighted at Bintree Mill, about 30 mins from home. A Dipper, in Norfolk!

We headed out in the cold and snow to take a look, see if we could see it. It was very cold so we only lasted about an hour. It was just long enough to catch a glimpse, to see the white bib but not enough to raise my camera before it was gone.

Also around the mill and river area including under the bridge was a Snipe, a Marsh Harrier and the little Wren below.
