Yesterday we went to Westleton Heath. A rare visitor, an Iberian Chiffchaff had been spotted so we wanted to try and find it.

We spotted the other birdwatchers first! Eventually after slowly following its song round a small patch of trees, Becky got the first clear view of it and showed the rest of us.

On Sunday we visited our local RSPB site, Strumpshaw Fen.

Becky spotted a leucistic male Pheasant! We’d never seen one before, it was roaming in the horse paddocks next to the site.
