According to one of the employees at CMagic the publication of the Cass review will cause a delay to the green lighting of the various pilot GICs (Cmagic, Genderplus, etc...). This is because, as we already knew, there is about to be an investigation into the various adult clinics similar to the Cass review. The consequence of this is that the various pilot gender identity clinics won't be able to take direct referrals as was expected to happen very soon since as a pilot clinic they aren't authorized to do so. Instead they'll only be able to take on referrals from the existing GICs, which is what has already been happening. They will remain pilot clinics for the time being. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news everybody.
