🌾 Voices from the Ukrainian wetlands, reimagined. 🌾

Maniucha & Ksawery channel the disappearing songs of Polissia—a swampy borderland where music was once woven into daily life. Lullabies, spring rituals, harvest hymns, and wedding laments echo through their stripped-back set of voice and double bass. This isn’t nostalgia. It’s resurrection.

Maniucha’s years of fieldwork in Ukrainian villages bring lived memory to the mic, while Ksawery’s improvisational grounding in jazz and avant-garde opens space for new life to emerge. Together, they unearth a shared language between past and present, sorrow and celebration, soil and spirit.

It’s music for ears that lean in. For those curious about what’s left when the noise falls away. Ukrainian folk as you’ve never heard it—minimal, magnetic, and defiantly alive.
