This has got to be one of my easier containers. Planted in lockdown, it’s had next to nothing done to it since. The crocus are over and the tulips have still to put in an appearance. What is unexpected are the two ribes that have suddenly appeared. I’m waiting to see if they flower before relocating them.

The other day I watched my neighbor put up a close board fence, and it got me thinking about how much a well-placed garden division can change the feel of a space. It not only offers privacy but also adds a touch of style. With options ranging from 1.2m to 2m, there’s a perfect height for every garden. Ever considered how timber fencing could redefine your outdoor experience?

These roses are flowering now. I can't wait for the false orange to bloom too. I planted this rose underneath the false orange years ago and when they both flower it's so beautiful. It wasn't even planned! #gardening #ukgardens #gardeninspiration #gardeningmakesmehappy
Was lucky enough to get some free dahlia tubers from a garden in Oxfordshire. The head gardener was going to throw them away so offered them to any takers. How lovely was that? #ukgardens #gardening
