gorhill has added a new scriptlet to uBlock Origin named prevent-navigation. The scriptlet prevents a page from navigating to any URL patching the provided pattern.
This scriptet was added to AdGuard last month.
One usage of this scriptlet is to combat pages which redirect to another page when an adblocker is detected.
This scriptlet is not yet available in any beta version of uBlock Origin.

@AwetTesfaiesus Es tut mir leid das schreiben zu müssen, aber wer sich das in dieser Form heute noch an tut ist selber schuld.
Es gibt genügend Werkzeuge, die genau das verhindern. #uBlockOrigin #AdGuard #PiHole etc. zusätzlich DNS-Server, die eingebaute Blocklisten haben oder sogar vom Internetanbieter zu Verfügung gestellt werden (siehe dazu Router-Einstellungen).
Und ja, es können damit auch die nervigen Hinweise zu "sie haben einen AdBlocker installiert" ausgeblendet bzw. umgangen werden.

Das ist ein Fehler der jeweiligen Website. Am besten die Meldung ignorieren oder mittels #uBlockOrigin wegfiltern.
In #Debian stable ist #Firefox 140.8.0esr-1, was auch die allerneueste ESR-Version ist.
Mehr kannst Du nicht machen, außer solche fehlerhaften Websites meiden 🤷

@gravitas I'd disrecommend manual @torproject / #Tor.configuration unless you know EXACTLY what you do.
So I do disrecommend doing this, and instead use if not #TorBrowser, then at least @Waterfox / #Waterfox with #SponsorBlock and #uBlockOrigin if not #NoScript in incognito mode...
Last Sunday, I made my first attempt at offering free digital support to a non-technical crowd. The main focus was to help install ad blockers, but it was also the opportunity to adjust accessibility settings, remove bloatware, and give various tech tips.
It was part of a freeshop event here in Valence, France. I installed 12 ad-blockers and a few alternative YouTube frontend (Tubular) in a few hours, and had some nice chats on digital tools; will do it again 😄
